News St. Louis Muny Casts Its Dolly, Horace, Cornelius, Irene and Barnaby for Upcoming Production of Hello, Dolly! Principal casting has been announced for the St. Louis Muny's seventh and final show of its 96th season, Hello, Dolly!, which will begin its limited engagement at the famed outdoor venue Aug. 11.

Directed by Rob Ruggiero with choreography by Ralph Perkins and music direction by Brad Haak, the production will continue through Aug. 18.

Tony Award winner Beth Leavel will head the cast as Dolly Levi with John O’Hurley as Horace Vandergelder, Rob McClure as Cornelius Hackl, Mamie Parris as Irene Molloy, Jay Armstrong Johnson as Barnaby Tucker, Eloise Kropp as Minnie Fay, Daniel Berryman as Ambrose Kemper, Berklea Going as Ermengarde, Rich Pisarkiewicz as Rudolph/Judge and April Strelinger as Ernestina.

“We are so thrilled to have Beth and John back, exactly where they belong,” said Muny artistic director and executive producer Mike Isaacson in a statement. “This incredible company is sure to do great honor to Jerry Herman’s classic American musical on its ‘50th Anniversary.’”

Hello, Dolly! features a book by Michael Stewart with music and lyrics by Herman.

The Muny production also has scenic design by Michael Schweikardt, costume design by Amy Clark, lighting design by John Lasiter, sound design by Jason Krueger and video design by Rob Denton. The production stage manager is Monica Dickhens.
