News Stadlen to Direct NYC Readings of Finkel Musical Ian Talks – Louie Walks Tony nominee Lewis J. Stadlen will direct the staged readings of Grammy winner Ian Finkel's solo musical Ian Talks – Louie Walks, a one man show (with a bunch of other people).

Finkel created and stars in the solo work that will receive two private readings on June 9 and 12. According to press notes, Ian Talks – Louie Walks "takes place in a small NYC apartment as Ian, his ex-wives, his butler and his bass player explore life, love, lust, marriage and music."

A xylophone virtuoso, Finkel has also written "Rainbow Wars," as well as It's Up To All Of Us, Second Avenue to Broadway, Michael Feinstein In Concert, Sophie Tucker in Person and earned a Grammy for the album "Songs From the Neighborhood."

Stadlen earned Tony Award nominations for his work in revivals of Candide and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. His extensive stage credits also include The Producers, 45 Seconds from Broadway, The Man Who Came to Dinner, The Odd Couple, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, The Sunshine Boys and Minnie's Boys.
