The national performing arts training program will present week-long summer performance intensives at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, GA; the Holland Performing Arts Center in Omaha, NE; and the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, PA.

"The chance to audition for, work with and learn from these exceptional directors is an invaluable opportunity that we are proud to be able to offer to young, emerging artists across the country," said BDF executive director Annette Tanner in a statement.

BDF students receive training in acting, dance and vocal performance before participating alongside Broadway performers in concert events open to the public. Arima will direct the Atlanta concert June 23, Tony Award nominee Dan Knechtges will direct the Philadelphia concert Aug. 4, and Lenz will helm the Omaha engagement July 14.

The 2012 Arts Intensive faculty roster will include BDF artistic director Nicholas Rodriguez (Tarzan), Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid, Jersey Boys), Craig D'Amico (Fiddler on the Roof), Quentin Earl Darrington (Ragtime), Traci Jai Edwards (Legally Blonde), Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick (The Boy From Oz), Eden Espinosa (Wicked), Meg Gillentine (Fosse), Deidre Goodwin (A Chorus Line), Tyler Hanes (A Chorus Line), Nikki Snelson (Legally Blonde), Telsey + Co. casting directors Craig Burns and Rachel Hoffman, BDF executive director Tanner and BDF creative producer Paul Canaan (Legally Blonde), among others.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation summer intensive program offers significant scholarships to hundreds of students each year, ensuring them to "realize their Broadway Dreams regardless of their financial status."
