Last week, Fallin captured four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein and six-time Emmy Award nominee Jeffrey Tambor, who joined the Tony Award-winning revival of La Cage aux Folles Feb. 15 in the roles of, respectively, drag star Albin and his partner, club emcee Georges. Tambor, however, withdrew from the production following the Feb. 24 performance.

This week, Fallin offers a revised version of that portrait, featuring two-time Tony nominee Christopher Sieber, who will step into the role of Georges at a date to be announced. To read more about Sieber joining the cast, click here.

La Cage aux Folles, about a gay couple who run a St. Tropez drag club, features music and lyrics by Jerry Herman and book by Fierstein, based on the play by Jean Poiret.  The production at the Longacres Theatre is choreographed by Lynne Page and directed by Terry Johnson, who won a 2010 Tony Award for his direction. It won the 2010 Best Revival (Musical) Tony.

Ken Fallin began his career as an illustrator by lovingly mimicking the style of the late, legendary Al Hirschfeld for the poster art for Forbidden Broadway. Since that time he has been a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal as well as The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The Hollywood Reporter, The Boston Globe, The Chicago Tribune and The New Yorker.

His work has illustrated major ad campaigns for American Express, Showtime and Belvedere Vodka. Most recently, he was nominated for a 2010 Emmy for his animated commercial for CNBC.
