News Stage Premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Will Be Two-Part Theatrical Event The previously announced world premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child that will take place at the West End's Palace Theatre in the summer of 2016 has revealed that it will be presented in two parts.

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, the play is being scripted by Thorne. According to press materials, the two partss are intended to be seen in order on the same day (matinee and evening) or on two consecutive evenings.

The creative team is led by Tony-winning director John Tiffany, joined by Steven Hoggett (movement), Christine Jones (sets), Katrina Lindsay (costumes), Neil Austin (lighting), Imogen Heap (music), Gareth Fry (sound) and Jeremy Chernick (special effects).
