What show recently impressed you?
Between work and having a ten-month-old at home, Matt and I don’t get to the theatre as much as we would like. However, we did use one of our date nights to see Pippin, which was one big WOW! Diane Paulus’ brilliant conception of the show blew me away. The cast is phenomenal as well. Those house seats were worth every penny. 
What production are you most excited to see?
I am told that Here Lies Love is a very special piece. With the incredibly inventive Alex Timbers behind it, I already know that it will be thoroughly entertaining. Seeing Mr. Billy Porter in Kinky Boots is also high on our list!
What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
Oh, this is such a fun question...fun to dream. There are so many! Can I name 3? Ha! I would love to play Bella in Lost in Yonkers, Anna in the King and I, and...hee hee... Lois Lane in It’s a Bird...It’s a Plane...It's Superman. We all had the most fabulous time working on the Encores! production of Superman. Let's bring it to Broadway!
What are your current/upcoming projects?
Well, George (my ten month old) and I are about to leave the city for three months. Our first stop is St. Louis, where I get to play a magical Nanny named Mary Poppins at the MUNY. Come to think of it, I will be the first person to ever “fly” over the MUNY theatre...yikes! Then we are off to Seattle, where Secondhand Lions will have its world premiere at the 5th Avenue Theatre. I am thrilled to be a part of this very exciting creative team and cast. SHL has a book by Rupert Holmes and music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner (First Date). Scott Schwartz is directing and Josh Bergasse ("Smash") is choreographing. I get to play this bad-ass princess who will be doing a lot of sword fighting while singing...I better get in shape! Above all, it’s a very special piece...there’s nothing like it. You all should come to Seattle and see it!
