Here, via email, we hear from actress Marin Hinkle, who is currently starring in The Roundabout Theatre Company production of Donald Margulies' Dinner With Friends at the Laura Pels Theatre.

What show recently impressed you?
I took my ten-year-old son to see the Shakespeare's Globe production of Twelfth Night, and I had one of those rare, magical nights in the theatre. I watched him sit spellbound by what he saw on that stage and was reminded why I wanted to be an actor in the first place. Is there anything that Mark Rylance can't do?

What production are you most excited to see?
I couldn't answer this with just one play, so here are four: New York Theatre Workshop's production of Caryl Churchill's new play Love and Information. I adore so many of the actors in it, and I am a huge Churchill fan. Sarah Ruhl's Stage Kiss at Playwrights Horizons. Bruce Norris' new play The Qualms, directed by Pam MacKinnon at Steppenwolf. Tony Kushner's The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide at Berkeley Rep. (I expect both of these last two plays to be in New York before we know it.)

What play/musical would you want to revive on Broadway?
Well, speaking of Caryl Churchill, why not revive that amazing New York Theatre Workshop production of Mad Forest that was done 22 years ago? The cast was exquisite. Mark Wing-Davey's direction was superb. Maybe we could get them all to just come back and do it again?

Which stage roles would you like to play?
I would love to try Beatrice in Paul Zindel's The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds (having played her daughter, Tillie, years ago.) And, I would love to play Emily Stilson in Arthur Kopit's marvelous play Wings. In high school, I combed through my town's public library for a play to enter into the city's annual competition, discovered this Kopit gem in the shelves and we ended up doing it. I played the therapist in it, but haven't given up the hope of one day playing the extraordinary part of Ms. Stilson - a wing walker with aphasia.
