What show recently impressed you?
I loved Once... It was so refreshing to see a show where relationships and emotions are not rushed but take time to develop before our eyes. The dance was amazing, and the music was moving.

What production are you most excited to see?
There are so many. I really want to see A Streetcar Named Desire. My parents are from the South, so I have a lot of relatives that remind me of the characters in that play. Peter and the Starcatcher sounds magical. And, of course,  The Best Man... an amazing cast!

What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
Jud in Oklahoma! would be fun... a black Jud would be all kinds of interesting! Coalhouse in Ragtime... but since it was just revived not too long ago, I think I will have to find somewhere other than Broadway to be a part of that show.

What are your current/upcoming projects?
I have a regular cabaret at the Metropolitan Room called Marcus Nance and Friends, where I highlight theatre and opera performers currently working in New York City. Next date is Monday, July 9 at 9:30.
