What show recently impressed you?
Oh man, so many good shows lately! I have to say the one that stands out in my mind was Giant at The Public. The score! The cast (Kate Baldwin/Katie Thompson — to die for)! The orchestra! When do you get to hear a full pit like that today? Amazing.

What production are you most excited to see?
I think it's split three ways between Kinky Boots, Matilda and Pippin. It's tough to get to the theatre on your night off — but I absolutely would for those three. Especially because I'm in love with Billy Porter and Patina Miller (CMU, represent!) and couldn't be more thrilled for their [Tony] wins. So happy for them.

What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
Hmmmm...definitely Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jimmy. Les Miserables, Marius (though I'm more an Enjolras probably). In the Heights, Benny (yeah, I said it...). Miss Saigon, Chris. That's enough, right? Let's start there wink

What are your current/upcoming projects?
I'm pretty excited to be working on my first EP, "Songs About A Girl," hopefully out in 2014. Since 2006 I've had this youtube channel, and I'm always updating it with new videos (YouTube.com/zakresnick). A Justin Timberlake cover coming soon with Mr. Jason Gotay! And a couple of things that hopefully I'll be able to tell you about soon! Keep your eyes and ears open. smile
