What show recently impressed you?
War Horse: Loved it! The way they told the story was imaginative, exciting and moving.

What production are you most excited to see?
Chita Rivera in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. I've never seen her give a performance that was not unique and completely committed.

What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
It may sound funny, but in the future I would love to play "Tevye" in Fiddler on the Roof. His talks with God (and the audience) are a wonderful part of classic musical theatre. Also "Alfred Doolittle" in My Fair Lady… "With a Little Bit of Luck" and "Get Me to the Church on Time"... he has the song and dance numbers that steal the show!

What are your current/upcoming projects?
I've been traveling around with a concert called Bohème to Broadway that mixes the best melodies from opera and Broadway. We also performed it at Feinstein's at the Regency in New York. It's a lot of fun, and people respond really well, even those who are "afraid" of opera. I'm also working on a solo show that I tried out a few months ago at a supper club. But whether it's a musical or an opera or concert...it's always a joy to connect with an audience!

*** Willy Falk received a Tony Award nomination for his performance as Chris in the original Broadway production of Miss Saigon. His other Broadway credits include Les Miserables, Starlight Express, A Chorus Line, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Marilyn. He has also appeared in regional productions of A Little Night Music, Little Shop of Horrors, Falsettos and Evita. A graduate of The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and trained as an operatic tenor, Falk recently performed operatic roles with The Lyrique-en-Mer Festival and The National Orchestra of Lyon, in France, as well as The Hawaii Opera Theatre, The New Hampshire Opera, The Augusta Opera and The Shreveport Opera.
