Here, via email, we hear from singing actor Adam Dannheisser, who plays Dennis in the Tony-nominated musical Rock of Ages at the Helen Hayes Theatre.

What show recently impressed you?
Ok, here's the thing — I was going to lie, but apparently lying to the press is frowned upon. So let me drop it like it’s hot... Because of my own show schedule, I get one day off per week. On that day, I chill in Jersey with my wife and kids. But I've seen some kickass puppet shows.

What production are you most excited to see?
Despite my super-honest and human answer to the previous question, I will move hell and high water (is that really an expression?) to see Mark Rylance in Richard III. I mean…Kids Schmids.

What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern — and I would play whichever role Mark Rylance didn't want to play.

What are your current/upcoming projects?
In addition to continuing to rock the Ages into its fifth year over at the Helen Hayes Theatre, I'm also currently directing a fantastic new comedy by Sandy Rustin called The Cottage at The Astoria Performing Arts Center. Please ignore your kids, grab Mark Rylance by the hand and come and see it.
