Green, John Hickok, Russell Arden Koplin, Laird Mackintosh, Jim Poulos, Elizabeth Teeter and Gordon Joseph Weiss. Tazewell Thompson directs.

In Lord Tom, which was penned by Kimberly Vaughn and Stanley Jay Gelber, "16 characters navigate the musical text through 26 original songs," according to press notes "The musical styles incorporated in the score include chant, hymnal, spiritual, blues, gospel, jazz, ragtime, country, dramatic, and contemporary ballad."

Inspired by Harriet Beecher Stowe's seminal novel, "Uncle Tom's Cabin," Lord Tom offers "a mythic yet human Tom [who] comes to the stage heroically, viscerally, as the novel's famous, abolitionist author wrote him, much in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela, Jackie Robinson, Frederick Douglass, and Rosa Parks."
