In the Heights Tony Award-winning choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler directs and choreographs the 8 PM concert, which celebrates the 35th anniversary of the U.S. release of the acclaimed Elton John-Bernie Taupin double album, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road." The evening, which offers all 17 songs from "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" in their original album track order, benefits the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Friends in Deed.

Scheduled to perform are Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights), Sherie Rene Scott (The Little Mermaid), John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig), Kelli O'Hara (South Pacific), Patrick Wilson ("Angels in America"), Jane Krakowski (Nine, "30 Rock"), Stew (Passing Strange), Joey Arias (Arias with a Twist), as well as the Broadway Inspirational Voices, Scissor Sisters front man and Tales of the City composer/lyricist Jake Shears, musicians Rufus Wainwright and Ben Folds, Melissa Hough, Larry Keigwin, and the casts of Hair and The Lion King.

"Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" features such hits as "Candle in the Wind," "Bennie and the Jets," "Harmony," "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" and the title song. Jeffrey Seller (In the Heights, Avenue Q) produces the music-filled event that features musical direction by Tom Kitt (Next to Normal, High Fidelity).
