Waxberg's State of the Art will continue through Dec. 19 at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood, directed by the playwright.State of the Art deals with the power television exerts over the course of our lives. Waxberg calls his play a "comic quartet" and manages to weave four vignettes into a whole, with its parts related by a central linking premise. Waxberg also directs a cast that includes Bruce Bailey, Susannah Brown, Brian David Cohen, Pat Dade, Richard Downes, Devlin Elliott, Rochelle Hoffman, Helen Jordan, Tania Mendoza, Douglas Seagraves and Alex Weiland.

Waxberg also directs a cast that includes Bruce Bailey, Susannah Brown, Brian David Cohen, Pat Dade, Richard Downes, Devlin Elliott, Rochelle Hoffman, Helen Jordan, Tania Mendoza, Douglas Seagraves and Alex Weiland.Waxberg won the Yorkin Playwriting Award. Most of his previous plays have been produced in New York and they include: An Alternate Recipe, Personal Formulas and Mitzvah Time, among others. He is on the faculty of the Stella Adler Theatre Academy in Hollywood. Last year he published "The Actor's Script: Script Analysis for Performers."
