The African American Experience, a family show celebrating Black History Month, will be presented at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood, CA. Presented in conjunction with The Educational Theatre Company (ETC), the free show is scheduled for Feb. 12 and 19 at 3 PM and Feb 26 at noon and 3 PM. A milk and cookie reception follows each performance.The musical and theatrical revue celebrates the contributions such famed African Americans as Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman and Garrett Morgan have made to modern life. (Morgan was the inventor of the gas inhalator and the signal light!)
