News Stephen Schwartz and Friends, with Callaway, Coulter and Gravitte, to Play OCPAC The Orange County Performing Arts Center will present Stephen Schwartz and Friends Oct. 2-5 in the Samueli Theater.

Part of OCPAC's 2008-2009 Cabaret Series, the revue will boast the talents of Tony Award winner Debbie Gravitte as well as Liz Callaway and Scott Coulter. The evening, which features solos, duets and trios, includes songs from such Schwartz musicals as Wicked, Pippin and Godspell. Cabaretgoers can expect to hear Schwartz's "Colors of the Wind," "Defying Gravity" and "Corner of the Sky," among others.

Remaining performances in the Cabaret Series include Barbara Cook and Deborah Voigt (Dec. 6 in the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall); John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey (Jan. 15-18, 2009 in the Samueli Theater); Matt Dusk (Feb. 12-15, 2009 in the Samueli Theater); and Nicole Cabell (May 14-17, 2009 in the Samueli Theater).
