News Stephen Schwartz and John Caird's Children of Eden Revived for London Charity Gala Jan. 29 Children of Eden, the 1991 Old Testament musical by Stephen Schwartz and John Caird, is being revived at the West End's Prince of Wales Theatre Jan. 29 for a one-night charity gala performance.

The 75-strong company includes Louise Dearman, Brenda Edwards, Gareth Gates, Russell Grant, Laura Samuels, Aaron Sidwell, Anton Stephans, Oliver Thornton, John Wilding, Waylon Jacobs, Tom Pearce, Jamie Papanicolaou, Daniella Bowen and Daisy Tonge, with Kerry Ellis as a special guest star. The concert is directed by Drew Baker, with musical supervision and direction by James Draisey, and set and lighting design by Ben Rogers. It is produced by Tony Green in association with Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment.

The concert is being staged to raise awareness of the chronic and debilitating condition Crohn’s disease, and all proceeds will be donated to Crohn’s and Colitis UK.
