News Stephen Sondheim and Barbara Cook Will Stop By NYC Barnes and Noble Locations Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim will discuss his latest book "Look, I Made a Hat: Collected Lyrics" Dec. 7 at the East 17th Street Barnes and Noble.

Fully titled "Look, I Made a Hat: Collected Lyrics with Attendant Comments, Amplifications, Dogmas, Harangues," the 480-page book is due out Nov. 22 from Knopf. The publication is the second in Sondheim's memoir and lyric anthology that also includes "Finishing the Hat." Additional details on the 7 PM are forthcoming.

Barnes and Noble's Upper East Side location (86th and Lexington) will welcome Tony Award-winning soprano Barbara Cook Nov. 15 at 7 PM. Cook will offer selections from her new live album "You Make Me Feel So Young."

Editor Nell Casey will discuss "The Journals of Spalding Gray" Nov. 14 at 7 PM at the UES location; while Tony Award-winning writer Phyllis Newman will and sign her children's book "What's New at the Zoo" Dec. 5 at 3:30 PM at the 82nd St. and Broadway location.

Colin Quinn will also stop by the 97 Warren St. location to celebrate the DVD release of his Broadway solo play Long Story Short Dec. 6 at 6 PM.
