Cygnet artistic director Sean Murray directs the musical, which features a score by Stephen Sondheim and a book by George Furth. Performances continue through Aug. 18.

The cast includes Andrew Ryder as Robert, Melissa Fernandes as Sarah, Andrew Oswald as Harry, Wendy Waddell as Susan, Kurt Norby as Peter, Athena Espinoza as Jenny, Andy Collins as David, Eileen Bowman as Amy, Matthew Naegel as Paul, Linda Libby as Joanne, David Kirk Grant as Larry, Katie Whalley as April, Ashlee Mayer as Marta and Mary Joe Duggan as Kathy.

Here's how Cygnet bills the modern classic: "On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed New York bachelor Bobby contemplates his unmarried state. Surrounded by 'those good and crazy people, his married friends,' Bobby weighs the pros and cons of married life, leading to one of the most profound conclusions in American Musical Theater. Company was among the first musicals to deal with adult themes and relationships."

Company won six Tony Awards in 1971, including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Lyrics, Best Book, Best Direction and Best Scenic Design. The 2006 Broadway revival also won the Tony for Outstanding Revival of a Musical.
