Other titles making notable climbs up the chart include the Michael Tilson Thomas/San Francisco Symphony recording of Mahler's Fifth Symphony, re-entering the chart at no. 8 after debuting at no. 13 two weeks ago and slipping off the chart last week; pianist H_lne Grimaud's Reflection, rising from no. 19 to no. 10; Cloudburst, Hyperion's release of innovative choral music by Eric Whitacre, ascending from no. 21 to no. 11; violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter's Simply Anne-Sophie, climbing from no. 20 to no. 14; and pianist Lang Lang's Memory, moving from no. 25 two weeks ago to no. 17 after falling from the chart for one week.
Also returning to the classical chart were tenor Juan Diego Fl‹rez's Sentimiento Latino (no. 21), guitarist Christopher Parkening's Gemini: Grace Like a River (no. 22), and soprano Fleming's Sacred Songs (no. 25).
Two discs by the English Concert under outgoing music director Andrew Manze — of four symphonies and a cello concerto by C.P.E. Bach and of three Mozart violin concertos — also left the US chart following the end of the ensemble's American concert tour.
While there were no new arrivals on Billboard's standard classical chart, there were two new entries at the top of the classical crossover chart: vocalist Josh Groban's Awake at no. 1 and tenor Andrea Bocelli's Under the Desert Sky at no. 2.
