The Sydney Theatre Company production of Streetcar also received honors for Best Supporting Actor (Tim Richards) and Best Score/Sound Design (Paul Charlier). STC's The War of the Roses took Best Production, Best Director (Benedict Andrews), Best Actor (Ewen Leslie), Best Set Design (Robert Cousins) and Best Lighting Design (Nick Schlieper).

Andrew Bovell's When the Rain Stops Falling, which will make its U.S. debut Feb. 11 at Lincoln Center Theater, earned Best New Australian Work.

Chicago took a host of awards including Best Musical, Best Actress (Sharon Millerchip) and Best Actor (Damien Bermingham).
