Striking 12 melds a modern story of a grumpy guy on New Year's Eve with the story of Hans Christian Andersen's little match girl. Sheinkin is a Tony Award winner for her …Spelling Bee libretto.

Seen earlier in Manhattan engagements (including an Off-Broadway run), the three-performer pop musical has also been seen in concert venues and regional theatres around the country with and without GrooveLily (there's a large-cast version of the script/score available for licensing).

Striking 12 will play eight performances only at The Metropolitan Room (34 West 22nd Street, between 5th and 6th Aves) on the following dates and times: Monday, Dec. 26 at 7 & 9:30 PM; Tuesday, Dec. 27 at 7 PM; Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 9:30 PM; Thursday, Dec. 29 at 7 & 9:30 PM; Friday, Dec. 20 at 7 PM; and Saturday, Dec. 31 at 4 PM.
