Struthers will star as Patsy's fan Louise Seger, with Johnson (Look Homeward Honky Tonk Angel) as the late country singer. Guy Stroman directs the Casa Mañana production, which will play a limited run through June 7.
Ted Swindley penned the work based on a true story of the relationship between Cline and her biggest fan. The musical includes the hits "Crazy," "I Fall to Pieces," "Sweet Dreams" and "Walking After Midnight."
Designing the production are Tammy Spencer (costumes), Chad Jung (lighting design) and Shannon Self (sound design).
Struthers is a two-time Emmy Award winner for "All in the Family." She has also appeared on television in "Still Standing," "Gilmore Girls," "9 to 5" and "Gloria." Struthers' Broadway engagements include Wally's Café, The Odd Couple, Grease and a 20th anniversary national tour of Annie. Other stage credits include previous mountings of Always... Patsy Cline, as well as Nunsense and Mame. She most recently starred in the Casa Mañana production of Steel Magnolias.
