Written and performed by Sue Mathys, Irresistible features direction by David Hilder and music direction by John Bell.

The new work, according to press notes, "tells Edith Piaf’s life through her chansons – both well-known hits and hidden treasures – interwoven with fictional letters and prayers inspired by Piaf’s dramatic life story. Not a cabaret act, not a concert, this is a theatrical experience reflecting the intensity and joie de vivre of the sparrow of Paris, as well as a celebration of the depths and brilliance of her immortal songs."
