Mauricio de Arruda´s drama, Under the Sun surprised both critics and public and currently plays to full houses at The Gloria Theatre in Rio de Janeiro. Directed by Paulo de Moraes this the story of a secret childbirth, brothers raised apart, revenge, betrayal and death. Not linked to a particular era or locality the play seeks to transcend time and space by its depiction of injustice of mankind and the mystery of life.
The Production has The Armazem Paranaense Company in the cast. This company from the south of Brazil have such distinguished names as Patricia Selonk, Narlo Rodrigues and Ricardo Gringes.
