The "Thirteenth Morning" is nearing!

The New Jersey Shakespeare Festival's production of Twelfth Night, playing at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre in Madison will come to an end July 30. It will make way for the next production of their "Rock Thy Brain" season, the eminently absurd Eugene Ionesco's Rhinoceros.

Twelfth Night follows the journeys of Viola, the love-sick Count Orsino, and the drunken Sir Toby Belch. Joseph Discher directs. The cast includes Tom Delling as Orsino, Lauren Lovett as Viola, James Michael Reilly as Feste, Edmond Genest as Malvolio, and Kevin Henderson as Sebastian. The set design was done by Troy Hourie. Costumes were done by Isabel Rubio. Bill Berner did the lighting design.

The NJSF opened the Rock Thy Brain season with The Forest. Rhinoceros plays, August 8-27. Shakespeare’s Anthony and Cleopatra, with Robert Cuccioli as Antony, runs Sept. 5-30, followed by Othello Oct. 24-Nov. 19. The season concludes with Maurice Maeterlinck’s The Blue Bird.

The New Jersey Shakespeare Festival is located at 36 Madison Ave (Route 124) on the campus of Drew University in Madison. For ticket and travel information, call the box office at (973) 408-5600. -- Daniel Fischer
