News Sunday in the Park, God of Carnage, Red Will Play Repertory Theatre of St. Louis Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Sunday in the Park With George will come to life as part of the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis' 2011-2012 main stage season.

The first production of the season will be Red, John Logan's two-person drama about painter Mark Rothko, which will run Sept. 7-Oct. 2. Following will be Yasmina Reza's Tony-winning comedy about a parental battle royale, God of Carnage, running Oct. 12-Nov. 6.

Laura Eason's adaptation of Mark Twain's The Adventures of Tom Sawyer will be staged Nov. 30-Dec. 23; and Sunday in the Park With George, the Sondheim-Lapine musical about painter Georges Seurat, will open the new year Jan. 4-29, 2012.

Following will be David Mamet's recent Broadway drama Race, which will run Feb. 8-March 4, 2012; Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors will close the season March 14-April 8, 2012.

The three productions to be included in the Studio Theatre season will be announced in July.
