News Sunset Boulevard's Barrowman to Release New CD in U.S. "John Barrowman Swings Cole Porter," the newest solo recording from the star of Anything Goes and Sunset Boulevard, will be released in the U.S. this fall.

Already available in London, the 14-track CD will be released Oct. 5 in the States on the First Light/Red Ink Records label. Barrowman, who can be seen in the new Cole Porter bio-pic "De-Lovely," salutes the music of the late composer on his new recording. Produced by Stewart Macintosh, the CD features orchestrations by Larry Blank. The complete track listing for "John Barrowman Swings Cole Porter" follows:

John Barrowman recently reprised his role as Billy Crocker in the National Theatre's production of Anything Goes at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. He originally played the role opposite Elaine Paige in 1989. On Broadway, the actor starred in the Stephen Sondheim revue Putting It Together and also made a guest appearance in the New York company of Sunset Boulevard, repeating his London role as Joe Gillis. Barrowman's other London theatrical credits include Grease!, The Phantom of the Opera, The Fix, Miss Saigon and Beauty and the Beast. Barrowman also starred on two U.S. television programs, "Central Park West" and "Titans," and can be seen in the Cole Porter biographical film "De Lovely."

Barrowman will join the West End company of Chicago as slick lawyer Billy Flynn beginning Sept. 20.
