The new series will kick off Jan. 9, 2011, from 3:30-7:30 PM, with the "Die Vampire, Die! Workshop," conducted by actress Susan Blackwell and actor and Tony-nominated writer Hunter Bell, both stars of the musical [title of show], which was given its world premiere at the Vineyard in 2006 prior to its Broadway transfer in 2008. The two artists, according to press notes, "will work with participants to identify and nurture their creative ideas."
This series will continue Jan. 29 at 3:30 PM with "Acting Practicum With Kathleen Chalfant" and Jan. 31 at 6:30 PM with "Acting the Song: Vocal Performance With Judy Kuhn." Details about these two workshops will be announced at a later time.
Admission to the initial workshop is $100. Reservations can be made online at www.vineyardtheatre.org or at the Vineyard Theatre box office (108 E. 15 St.) from 1 PM-6 PM Tuesdays through Fridays.
