News Swan Lake's Kemp Signs for CBS' "NY-LON" Remake British actor Will Kemp is set to star in an American remake of "NY-LON" as a new series for CBS Television.

Kemp — whose credits include the recent London revival of Equus with Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths, as well as Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake in the West End and on Broadway — will appear as a London stock broker who begins a relationship with a New York shop girl following a brief London encounter. Variety also reports that "24" actress Elisha Cuthbert has been cast as Kemp's American love interest in the ABC Studios remake of the 2004 British series. The new series is penned by Patti Carr and Lara Runnels.

The original U.K. version was shot both in New York's Lower East Side and in London.

Kemp's screen credits include "Van Helsing," "Step Up 2: The Streets" and "Miguel and William."
