According to her agent, McCartney will begin a stint as Rosie in the New York company of Mamma Mia! October 20. McCartney will replace Harriett D. Foy, who is currently playing the role in the hit ABBA musical.

Judy McLane, who received a Drama Desk Award nomination this past season for her performance as Vienna in Off-Broadway's Johnny Guitar, may also be joining the Mamma cast. A spokesperson for the actress confirmed that McLane is currently in negotiations to join the show as Tanya. She would also begin Oct. 20.

Liz McCartney starred on Broadway in Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera and the short-lived musical Dance of the Vampires. She also spent nearly two years in the Boston production of Nunsense, and her regional credits include Paint Your Wagon, The Rocky Horror Show and Fifty Million Frenchmen.

Judy McLane has appeared on Broadway in Kiss of the Spider Woman, Aspects of Love and Chess. She starred in the tours of Into the Woods, Big, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Side By Side By Sondheim. Her many other theatrical credits include Follies, Victor/Victoria, Evita, Man of La Mancha, Oliver!, Nine and Kiss Me, Kate.

The cast of Mamma Mia! at the Winter Garden currently features Dee Hoty as Donna Sheridan, Jenny Fellner as Sophie Sheridan, Rebecca Kasper as Ali, Keisha T. Fraser as Lisa, Tamara Bernier as Tanya, Harriett D. Foy as Rosie, Joe Machota as Sky, Jason Weston as Pepper, Michael Benjamin Washington as Eddie, Michael Winther as Harry Bright, Adam LeFevre as Bill Austin, John Hillner as Sam Carmichael and Brent Black as Father Alexandrios.
