News TACTors Jones, Bacon, Darlow and More Celebrate Lansbury at Annual Gala May 11; Faith Prince Sings Off-Broadway's The Actors Company Theatre (TACT) honors legendary actress — and 2009 Tony Award nominee, for Blithe Spirit — Angela Lansbury at its annual gala fundraiser May 11 at The Hudson Theatre. The Little Mermaid's Faith Prince has also joined the list of performers.

The starry evening kicks off at 6:30 PM with a cocktail reception and silent auction. Dinner will be served at 7:30 PM. TACT company member Simon Jones (who stars with Lansbury in Broadway's Blithe Spirit) serves as master of ceremonies and introduces the evening's entertainment set to commence at 8:30 PM.

A limited number of $50 show-only mezzanine tickets (accessible only by stairs) are also available. Seating for the show-only tickets will begin at 8 PM.

TACT company members Mary Bacon, Cynthia Darlow, Todd Gearhart, Larry Keith, Jack Koenig, Ron McClary, John Plumpis and Jenn Thompson and Broadway performers Annaleigh Ashford (Wicked, Legally Blonde), Catherine Brunell (Mary Poppins, Thoroughly Modern Millie), Mara Davi (A Chorus Line, The Drowsy Chaperone), Aaron Lazar (Tale of Two Cities, Les Miserables, Light in the Piazza), Ken Page (Happiness, Cats) and Meredith Paterson (Irving Berlin's White Christmas, 42nd Street) will sing selections from many of Lansbury's Broadway productions and will also perform a musical tribute to the legendary star.

Larry Goldberg will serve as the evening's musical director. Co-artistic director Scott Alan Evans will direct the evening.

The Hudson Theatre is located at 145 West 44th Street.
