The first tour opened at L.A.'s Veterans Wadsworth Theater Sept. 2 and the second opens Sept. 16 at the Page Auditorium in Durham, NC.

Tap Dogs had its world premiere in Jan. 1995 at the Sydney Theatre Festival and opened later that year at the Edinburgh Festival. After a run at London's Sadler's Wells, return tours of Australia and a second run in London, Tap Dogs made its North American debut at Montreal's Just For Laughs Festival in Aug. 1996. Designed and directed by Nigel Triffitt with original music by Andrew Wilkie, the musical dance revue has garnered Olivier and Obie awards and most recently the Mobil Oil Pegasus Award at the Spoleto Festival.
