Tony Award nominee Maroulis played his final performance Sept. 9; he will head the cast of the tour of Rock of Ages, which launches Sept. 21 in Chicago.

The musical comedy Rock of Ages borrows rock hits of the 1980s to tell the story of showbiz lovers in L.A. The score includes "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again," "Don't Stop Believin'" and more.

Rock of Ages is written by Chris D'Arienzo, directed by Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Kelly Devine.

The cast currently features Emily Padgett, Josephine Rose Roberts, Adam Dannheisser, Mitchell Jarvis, Michele Mais, Paul Schoeffler, Derek St. Pierre, Jenifer Foote, Ericka Hunter, Jay Klaitz, Michael Minarik, Julie Nelson, Justin Matthew Sargent, Matthew Stocke, Sarrah Strimel, Becca Tobin, Andre Ward, Katie Webber and Jeremy Woodard.
