Although the April 5 concert is completely sold out, Tartaglia will perform an encore of his show April 26 at 9:30 PM. For his New York concert debut, Avenue Q's Tartaglia, who stars as both Princeton and Rod in the hit musical at the Golden Theatre, will be joined onstage by several of his Q co-stars, Jen Barnhart, Stephanie D'Abruzzo and Ayme Garcia. Jamie McGonnigal will direct the concerts with musical direction by Michael Patrick Walker. Concertgoers can expect to hear an eclectic mix of material, ranging from contemporary show tunes to current pop.

The "Broadway Spotlight" series presents concert evenings with stars of the musical theatre. Previous concerts have spotlighted the talents of Avenue Q's Ann Harada, Dance of the Vampires' Max von Essen, Les Miz’s Lauren Kennedy, Hairspray's Shoshana Bean, Into the Woods' Chad Kimball, Aida's Felicia Finley, Rent's Anthony Rapp, Wicked's Idina Menzel and Funny Girl’s Leslie Kritzer.

John Tartaglia is currently making his Broadway debut in Avenue Q. He appeared in the recent Children of Eden benefit concert and in the City Center Encores! presentation of Carnival. His TV credits include eight seasons on "Sesame Street" as well as "Animal Jam," "Bear in the Big Blue House" and "The Rosie O'Donnell Show." Tartaglia will also be seen for a week's worth of "Hollywood Squares" episodes in April.

The Ars Nova Theater is located in Manhattan at 511 West 54th Street. Tickets are priced at $12; doors open at 7:30 PM. Call (212) 868-4444 for tickets or go to www.SmartTix.com.
