Peter Zablotsky’s Off the Meter will open for previews Wednesday, June 14 at NYC's Hudson Guild Theatre. Opening Night is Thursday, June 22. The play fulfills many people's fantasies, as the characters get even with their bosses and with society.

Off the Meter tells the story of Johnson, an investment banker in a prominent Wall Street firm, and Eddie, a cab driver. Both men do all of the work and get none of the credit. Sick of being unappreciated, the two team up and plan a scam that will give them their just rewards.

The cast features David Blackman, Kent C. Jackman, Gary Lowery, and Tim Miller. It is under the direction of John Ahlers.

Zablotsky made his Off-Broadway debut with his 1998 play H. Finn Esq. In addition to writing, Zablotsky is a Full Professor of Law at Touro College. Director Ahlers collaborated with him for the production of H. Finn Esq. Other credits include The Pool with Five Porches and The Compatriots.
