Taye Diggs and Jenny Parsinen are set to choreograph a benefit workshop production of Keenan Scott II’s thoughts of a COLORED MAN on a day when the sun set too early February 4-6 at the Royal Family Performing Arts Space. The production is directed by RFP artistic director Chris Henry.

Keenan Scott II’s newest play follows the stories of eight young men as they try to find their identities in a conformist world—blending poetry, prose, and vernacular born from the hip hop generation.

A pre-show cocktail reception will help kick off the February 4 show, with special guests Kathleen Chalfant and John Cariani in attendance.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting RoyalFamilyProductions.org. The Royal Family Performing Arts Space is located at 145 West 46th Street, 3rd Floor, New York.
