News Taye Diggs Returns to “Will & Grace” Feb. 2 Taye Diggs, who guest starred on the Jan. 5 broadcast of “Will & Grace,” will again appear on the Emmy-winning series Feb. 2.

Diggs returns as a character named James on the comedy series, which airs on NBC-TV at 8 PM ET; check local listings. The episode is titled “I Love L. Gay.” According to the official NBC website, the upcoming episode is described thusly: “Will (Eric McCormack), Karen (Megan Mullally), and a star struck Grace (Debra Messing) travel to Los Angeles to support Jack as he accepts a HAPI award for Best Local Cable Gay Talk Show Host. Coincidently, Will runs into James (Taye Diggs) while in LA, but to his surprise James is Canadian and in jeopardy of being deported. After spending a perfect weekend together, Will and James find that they don't have to say good-bye to each other again when Grace makes a special proposal.”

Taye Diggs has appeared on Broadway in Wicked, Carousel, Rent and Chicago. He received an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for his performance in Off-Broadway's The Wild Party and was recently seen in A Soldier’s Play. Diggs’ screen credits include “Rent,” “Kevin Hill,” "How Stella Got Her Groove Back," "The Best Man," "The Way of the Gun," "House on a Haunted Hill," "The Wood," "Go," "Brown Sugar" and "Chicago."
