"There’s a specific show I want her to write," Weinstein said regarding Swift. The "We Are Never Getting Back Together" songwriter was in attendance for an April 1 workshop presentation of Finding Neverland, along with Andrew Lloyd Webber and Michelle Williams.
Weinstein is shepherding the new musical Finding Neverland, which will premiere in a new adaptation at the American Repertory Theater this summer. Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Porgy and Bess, Hair) is directing the musical that has a score by U.K. pop songwriters Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy, with a book by James Graham (This House).
Swift, known for her confessional pop songs, has won seven Grammy Awards. Her albums include "Taylor Swift," "Fearless," "Speak Now" and "Red."
