News Taymor Will Lead a A Director's Journey at Joe's Pub Lion King Tony winner Julie Taymor, currently represented on the silver screen with the movie musical "Across the Universe," will chat with three young directors at an upcoming evening at Joe's Pub.

The Nov. 13 discussion, entitled A Director's Journey, is free and open to the public. Taymor will interview Selina Cartmell, a Dublin-based freelance director who has founded her own company, Siren Productions; Lara Foot Newton, who is currently adapting her South African play Tshepang for film; and Federico Leon, an Argentine theatre and film writer-director. The evening begins at 9 PM. A Director's Journey is presented by Rolex in association with The New School Writing Program and Eugene Lang College/The New School for Liberal Arts.
