Sweet and Sour was inspired by a Ray Charles album and his music is used with permission. "Charles' music is perfect for Thrance," said Schroder. "His album "Sweet and Sour Tears" voices so many ways to feel sadness and react to rejection, from heart-wrenching to angry, from somewhat silly to downright pathetic."

Schroeder has been performing solo dances at Sacred Fools during the past year on monthly open-stage nights. She recently appeared in The Brides at Sacred Fools.

Others in the Sweet and Sour cast include Aldrich Allen, Tina Ballabio, Kirstin Burbank and Alisa Steel, among others.
