Jose Luis Oliver, Marcelo Mazzarello, and Mariana Prommel are the writers, directors, and cast of a five-act play, Teatro Zen, composed of disparate situations, exploiting the absurdness and ridiculousness of each one.

Two emperors have a dialogue with their people --the audience-- which is fighting for better living standards; a nasty schoolgirl reads children's poems; two mystics talk about alternative therapies; a widow tells the audience about the death of her husband; and finally, two dead men have a conversation about dead people's lives.

Zen Theater features the inclusion of the audience as part of the show and the proposal of a direct dialogue between the actors and the public.
