News Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen to Read Love Letters on Martha's Vineyard Acting couple Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen will co-star in a benefit reading of A.R. Gurney's poignant work Love Letters for the Vineyard Playhouse in July.

The one-night-only 7:30 PM reading will take place at the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School.

Danson is best-known for his work on "Cheers." He currently stars in the crime series "CSI." Steenburgen is an Academy Award winner for "Melvin and Howard" and has appeared on "30 Rock" and Off-Broadway in The Exonerated.

Gurney's beloved two-actor play centers on the lifelong friendship between Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner. The story is told through a series of letters from their summer camp days through adulthood.
