Hooters, Ted Tally's comic look at the dating scene, opens July 13 at the Zephyr Theatre in Hollywood for a four-week run. Originally produced in New York in 1978, the play is directed by Ted Brunetti, an Uta Hagen protege. Closing date is Aug. 6. Starring in Hooters are Whoopi Goldberg's daughter, Alex Martin Dean, and local radio personality Clarence Barnes (who is also executive producing the show).The four-person cast also includes Lou Carbonneau and Michelle Haun.
