News Telepathic Ends Its Thing at the Performing Garage Dec. 9 It won an Obie Award and a Bessie Award, and that, apparently, was more than enough to bring it back. It's Big Dance Theater's production of Annie-B Parson and Paul Lazar's Another Telepathic Thing, and it began an encore run Nov. 15 at Soho's Performing Garage (home of the Wooster Group). The four week run comes to an end on Dec. 9.

It won an Obie Award and a Bessie Award, and that, apparently, was more than enough to bring it back. It's Big Dance Theater's production of Annie-B Parson and Paul Lazar's Another Telepathic Thing, and it began an encore run Nov. 15 at Soho's Performing Garage (home of the Wooster Group). The four week run comes to an end on Dec. 9.

The story involves Satan, who shows up in a Hollywood casting studio and starts telling Mark Twain's story, "The Mysterious Stranger." And let's just say the story goes on from there.

BDT netted a 2000 Obie cash grant for their body of work. Additionally, Stacey Dawson won a Bessie for her performance, while Cynthia Hopkins won an Obie for hers. Both Dawson and Hopkins are back. Also in the cast are Tymberly Canale, Molly Hickok, Paul Lazar and David Neumann.
