News Telly Leung Among Producers of Short Film "Grind"; "Grimm" Star Claire Coffee Lands Lead Role Claire Coffee, who is a series regular on NBC's "Grimm," will play the female lead, Autumn, in the new independent short film "Grind."

The creative and producing team for the upcoming film includes Zachary Halley, writer-director-producer; Selda Sahin, lyricist and producer; Derek Gregor, composer and producer; Telly Leung, producer; Sing Out Louise! Productions, producer; Masie Productions, producer; Steven Tylor O’Connor, producer and casting director; Joe Rusin, producer; and David Larsen, choreographer.

The character Autumn, according to press notes, is "Vincent and Thane's straight gal pal. She is both wildly fascinated with the gay online dating culture and cautious of its potential dangers. She lives alone in Hell's Kitchen, but hopes to one day find her own true connection. 'Grind' takes a sexy and artistic look at the ways we connect in today’s world and some of the dangers that come with that. Because, in the end, do we really know who we’re talking to?"

Coffee has had recurring roles on shows such as "The West Wing," "General Hospital" and "Franklin & Bash."
