News Telly Leung, Ann Sanders, Tituss Burgess Will Be Part of Tomo Yo: My Friend Benefit Tomo Yo: My Friend - A Benefit for Japan will be presented April 29 at 11:30 PM at Joe's Pub, the intimate cabaret located within the Public Theater.

The evening will begin with a special karaoke pre-show at 11 PM featuring Brooke Ishibashi, Jennifer Sanchez and Louise Stewart.

The main concert will boast the talents of Telly Leung and Ann Sanders, who will offer a song from the new musical Allegiance; Brooklyn Soundpainting Company; Christopher Larkin and d'Artagnan; The Movement Theatre Company and Kristine Haruna Lee; Misa Ogasawara; Mahina Movement; Matt Park; Tituss Burgess; and Alexander Rovang.

A new short play by Harrison David Rivers, directed by Colette Robert and featuring Lauren Hines, Casey Robinson and Jehan O. Young, will also be part of the evening as will special video appearances from Joe Jonas and George Takei.

Tomo Yo, according to press notes, "brings together some of the most exciting young theater companies, singers, writers, and artists to create a tapestry of new songs and scenes in response to the recent events in Japan."

Proceeds will benefit AmeriCares. Producers are T. Rick Hayashi, Eric Louie and Jesca Prudencio.
