News Temple Students Sing Out Loud!, a Cabaret of Gay-Themed New Songs, Dec. 11-12 in Philly Students of Temple University's musical theatre concentration perform Sing Out Loud! A Cabaret of New Queer-Themed Songs Dec. 11-12 at the Randall Theatre in Philadelphia.

Organizer and musical director Katya Stanislavskaya solicited songs from New York City musical theatre writers for the original show, a benefit, to play 8 PM Dec. 11 and 2 PM Dec. 12.

The songwriters include Brandon Anderson, Barbara Anselmi, Will Aronson, Craig Baldwin, Michael Biello, Ella Rose Chary, Greg Edwards, William T.N. Hall, Brian Hargrove, Anna Jacobs, Kenneth Jones, Tina Lear, Kathy Lombardi, Dan Martin, Jim Merritt, Bill Nelson, Alexandra Rubin, Sam Salmond, Mark Sanderlin, Zak Sandler, Katya Stanislavskaya, Gerald Stockstill, Frank Terry, Joel Waggoner and Clay Zambo.

The student performers include Travis Battle, Anne Bilker, Peter Camp, Isabelle Denarie, Olivia DiRodio, Matt Dotzman, Dionna Eshelmann, Jeff Familetti, Alex Gregory, Alexcia Irizarry, Katie Johantgen, Maria Konstantinidis, Quinn Lashinsky, RJ Magee, Merci Lyons-Cox, Guy Mandia, Victoria Mayo, Eileen McHugh, Chris Monaco, Julia Naugle, Cassandra Nary, Mike Nappi, LJ Norelli, Owen Pelesh, Richie Sklar, Cameron Slusser and Ryan Streit.

Staging is by Peter Reynolds, head of the Temple musical theatre concentration and artistic director of Mauckingbird Theatre Company in Philadelphia, and Brandon McShaffrey.

There is a suggested $5 donation at the door. Proceeds go to programs of the Temple musical theatre concentration. The Randall Theater is 2020 North 13th Street, Philadelphia.
