The 8 PM event, which is sold out, marks the centenary of the late playwright. The evening features several theatre artists reading from Williams' body of work.

Scheduled to be part of the celebration are Alec Baldwin, Zoe Caldwell, Michael Cristofer, Olympia Dukakis, Zoe Kazan, Tony Kushner, Jessica Lange, Marian Seldes and Angelica Torn. This event is a collaboration between 92nd Street Y, New Directions Publishing and the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival.

Audiences can expect to hear Marian Seldes read a letter from Tennessee Williams to Elia Kazan; Olympia Dukakis to read a passage from The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore; Alec Baldwin and Angelica Torn as, Mitch and Blanche, to read a scene from Streetcar; and Eli Wallach and Zoe Kazan to read a one-act called Mister Paradise, about a girl's visit to an aged, unknown poet.
