Classic Arts News Tenor Matthew Polenzani Withdraws From Lincoln Center Recital A recital by tenor Matthew Polenzani scheduled for April 23 at Alice Tully Hall has been cancelled, Lincoln Center announced.
Polenzani was to perform music by Beethoven, Britten, Schubert and Ives, accompanied by pianist Julius Drake, as part of Lincoln Center's "Art of the Song" series.

The cancellation is due to a death in Polenzani's family, Lincoln Center said. The recital will not be rescheduled. Call 212-875-5456 for information about ticket refunds or exchanges.

Earlier this year, a Carnegie Hall concert scheduled for January 14 and featuring Polenzani was postponed because of the death.
